Vegetation Dieback and Classification of Flood Plain Vegetation

Author: A. R. Marshall and M. T. Rau

Date: August 1999

This report determines: a) the flooding thresholds at which various types of floodplain forest may become destressed and b) the maximum extent of potential dieback for various scenarios.  It is not linked to the sediment transport model and consequently can not predict the areas of dieback, only its maximum possible extent based on topography and vegetation type.
