With the Ok Tedi mine expected to close in 2013, the time is approaching when communities in the Western Province must stand alone.
OTML is committed to finding ways of ensuring the communities of the Western Province can sustain their livelihoods once the mine ceases to operate.
It is from this commitment that the Ok Tedi Development Foundation (OTDF) was launched.
